The good news was that the lake continued its unseasonably warm temperature trend, coming in at a balmy 42F. The not so good news was the constant 15mph+ wind from the south which whipped up the lake and tormented us once we got our of the water. But even with these minor inconveniences, we all had a great time in the lake. Finally over the flu, I went with my neoprene shorty and wasn’t cold at all during a 1/4 mile swim. I can’t say that I did a perfectly linear out-and-back in the chops, but it was a fun adventure nonetheless. Wish you all could have been out there!
