After an early July heat wave, the lake finally caught up and came in at 74F this morning – finally shattering the 70F ceiling! The air temp was a muggy 73F, so we wasted little time getting in the mostly calm lake. But we spent a bit of time beforehand admiring the magnificent Great Lakes sunrise out to the east.
So if you slept in, you missed out on a great morning for a summer swim!
