After the mess that greeted us on August 6, this was a welcome change to say the least! Unlike the 6-foot swells from the prior Sunday, we had a mirror flat 74F lake and perfect swimming conditions at 5:55am. Surprisingly, the lakefront was pretty devoid of people for most of the time we were out there. Perhaps everyone was out of town on vacation that weekend. But if their absence was because they slept in, they sure missed out!
