Swim Report – May 1, 2010 – The first “May Miler” of 2010!

Sunny skies, 60F air temperatures, and an unbelievable 56F lake temperature made our first May swim one of the best of the year so far! Here we are in “the pool” just off of Ladder #1:

I was treading water, so the video is a bit fidgety. But you really missed out on a phenomenal time!

  1. Swam at the Hammond beach today (May 2). Water 54 degrees, little or no wind or waves. Beautiful day. First time in the lake this year

  2. STEVE FORGOT TO MENTION THE WATER WAS 57 DEGREES TODAY…. HE SWAM A MILE AND NEEDED TO LEAVE AND I STUCK AROUND TO SWIM FROM LADDER ONE TO FULLERTON AVE AND BACK. IT WAS SO NICE I DIDN’T WANT TO STOP. THE MORNING WAS PERFECT THILL THE CLOUDS BLEW IN AT 11:30AM. AMANDA SWAM HERE THEN DROVE TO SWIM AT PROMATORY POINT.
