It was more active than usual at 5:50am due to some early bird Air Show spectators scoping out the best seating areas. But we had a great crowd out at daybreak and got in a quick 1/2 mile while the lakefront was still relatively unpopulated.
The lake came in at 73F lake – withing striking distance of the 76air temp – and we didn’t get much of a sunrise due to some foggy conditions. But Mother Nature gave us mirror flat conditions, so we were able to get in a swim before the swarms of humanity moved in!
