The hot weather spell faded a bit on the weekend, but we still had a 54F air temperature and a calm lake at 6:00am. The big news, though, was the lake which came in at a balmy 52F – an 11F jump from two weeks ago. Given these conditions, I ditched the neoprene entirely and just wore a thermo rash guard with my jammers and swim cap. A bit bracing a first, but perfectly comfortable after a few minutes.
Spring has sprung!
