    PETER PETER PETER…..
IF YOU START AT LADDER #1 WHICH NOW LOOKS LIKE 1/2 OF ITS MISSING… LOOK ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE WALL AND TO THE LEFT ARE TWO TWIN BROWN BRICK BUILDINGS….WHEN YOU SWIM PAST THE LAST ONE YOUR AT 1/4 MILE….WHEN YOUR AT THE END OF THE STEEL WALL AT THE BEACH- – – LOOK TO THE SIDE WALK AND YOU WILL SEE A SITTING WALL AND YOU NEED TO SWIM TO THE END OF THAT TO MAKE IT 1/2 MILE ( ABOUT A 1/3 OF THE WAY ALONG THE BEACH SAND. NOW SWIM BACK TO LADDER #1 TO MAKE THE FULL MILE….
? WASN’T THAT EASY ? IR YOU CAN CHEAT LIKE MANY DO AND JUST LIE AND TELL US YOU MADE IT !

How far is it from Ladder 1 to Oak Street Beach and back? Is it roughly a mile?

Hi Peter. If you follow the shoreline and hit the middle of the beach, it’s roughly a mile.

THE WATER TEMP WAS 55 AT LADDER # 1 TODAY AND THE FIRE DEPT DIVE TEAM SAID IT READ 59 DEGREES ON THE BOTTOM AT THE 1/8 MILE MARKER. I SWAM WITHOUT A HOOD OR CAP AND IT TOOK 1/6 OF A MILE TO GET MY HEAD USE TO IT… PERHAPS I WILL GET THOSE MUCH NEEDED HAIR IMPLANTS OR A WIG !
