Once again, the forecast was not optimistic and called for heavy rains and high wave advisories. But it’s almost always calmer in the morning, and that was indeed that case when I got out to L1
The air temp was 72F but there was a bit of a breeze that put a September chill into things. However, the lake was a magnificent 74.6F. There were some slight swells and chops, but nothing that couldn’t be navigated fairly easily. And as an added bonus, the thunderstorms began much later in the morning, so we dodged the chaos once again!
