Swim Report – October 30, 2011 – Sub 50F lake temps (finally!)

After having such great weather on Saturday, I had high hopes that we’d have a nice reception from Mother Nature this morning. Fat chance! We instead showed up to a blustery, overcast L1 and a 48F lake replete with every-intensifying chops. Nevertheless, we persevered and had a lot of fun!

Enjoying the sunlight while it lasted (which was about three minutes…)

I WAS UNABLE TO ATTEND THE SUNDAY MORNING SWIM BUT I SHOWED UP FOR HALLOWEEN AND THE WATER WAS FLAT AS A MIRROR AND 51 DEGREES WITH A SKY FILLED WITH SUNSHINE….IT WAS A GREAT DAY FOR THE LAST SWIM OCTOBER.
P.S. MIKE , LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU PLAN TO MAKE THE NEXT SWIM SO I CAN BRING ALONG THE WET SUIT. I HAVE ANOTHER PAIR OF BOOTS THAT JUST MIGHT FIT YOU !
