Swim Report – October 22, 2011 – Autumn splendor

I caught a ride with Dave, and we had to hustle from the Lincoln Park lot to get out to L1 in time for the sunrise. Lucky for us, it’s getting later and later this time of year!

A lively group of Lake Monsters had already assembled at the swim site, and we ended up with 13 total swimmers – more than we typically get during the summer! The air temperate was a crisp 40F with the lake coming in at 52F. But had calm waters, no wind, and abundant sunshine to give us yet another near perfect swim.

And did I mention that unbelievable late October sunrise?
