What a difference a couple of weeks makes! During our last swim earlier this month, the lake came in at 66F. But we had a 10 degree negative shift last Sunday with the mercury coming in at 56F. Even with this drop, the water was still way more pleasant than the 48F air (and accompanying wind and drizzle). But the days of a 60F+ lake have definitely come to an end – at least until late spring 2024!
