Swim Report – November 10, 2024 – Warm Spell

With the 12mph forecasted winds, I was expecting a very choppy lake at 6:30am. Fortunately for us, the weatherman was wrong again and the lake was perfectly calm and ideal for a swim. It was a bit crisp with the 50F air temperature and overcast skies, so I opted for my jammers and thermo shirt. But the lake came in at a surprisingly balmy 56.4F, and I was quite comfortable during the 1/4 mile swim. Fingers crossed that the lake stays in the 50s for the rest of November!
