A few intrepid Lake Monsters came out at 5:40am to get in a swim in a perfectly clear lake that was within striking distance of 60F (57.5F temp reading in swim). The lake was fairly calm with a slight southbound current, but nothing that really impacted our swim. I got in 1/2 mile with just my jammers, cap, and thermo rash guard and was quite comfortable. It was a bit overcast, and the air temp was in the mid-50Fs, but the lake was a real joy to swim in. You should have been out there!
