The morning of the Chicago Triathlon gave us a 75F lake along with comparable air temperatures – so about as ideal as it gets! The rest of the day got progressively hotter, but all was perfect out at L1 at 6:00am. I got in my usual 1/2 mile and REALLY wanted to hang out at Oak Street Beach in an inner tube for the rest of the day. But alas, I had to head back up north. I hope you all got out to the lake before the heat came in!
