I decided to get some miles in on the road bike today, so I pedaled way west of the Air Show mess and down to Hyde Park. By that time, the early afternoon sun had become pretty intense with the outside air temperature coming in at around 92F.
I saw a rather festive and friendly crowd gathered on the south end of Promontory Point. So I did the only logical thing and got in with them! The water was perfect – est. temperature of 70F:
