Author Steve Here are a few cool shots Dave took earlier this week of a sunny – but most definitely frozen – lakefront!
the first photo is the light house at North ave beach. it seems the 20 plus foot waves that hit last Sunday iced it up a little ! in my 35 years i have never seen it covered in ice like this ! it is quite beautiful.
the second shot is ladder #1 before i chopped all of the ice off.
the third photo shows how the police shut down the entire north wall of the beach due to those monster waves turning it into a ice skating rink all the way to lake shore drive. . .
