January 1st 2013 only 3 members showed up for the 8 am swim at Montorse south wall…Nick ,English Channel Mike and your truly Diver Dave…
air was 16 and water 33 1/2 with pools of slush on near mirror flat water and beautiful sunshine ! i drove up LSD from Congress and the whole lake looked like it would be a rough swim with 2 foot churning waters from the strong north winds…once again we were very lucky !
p.s. i did stop at Stanley’s for pineapple but they were all green…
