Despite the intermittent rainstorms that took place earlier this morning, L1 was mostly calm when I got there just before 6:00am. We had some occasional drizzle while getting prepped for the swim, but that eased up once it was time to get in the lake.
I didn’t have my pool thermometer, but the in-swim temp came in at 74.4F lake – a perfect complement to the 70F air. I did my now usual 1/2 mile to Oak Street Beach with a victory walk back to L1. So a perfect way to spend the morning!
