We outwitted Mother Nature this morning and got in a swim before the t-storms arrived. The lake was a balmy 57.2F lake at 5:22am with intermittent light rain – but thankfully no thunder or lightning. Outside of a slight southbound current, the lake conditions were ideal. I managed to do 1/3 mile with my jammers and thermo shirt – although I easily could have ditched the latter. Looks like we’re in for an early summer!
