Our first meetup of May was a really winner with a 54F lake, just slightly warmer than the 52F air. But the real treat was the stunningly photogenic sunrise which gave us an amazing backdrop for an early morning swim.
In contrast to last week, the swimming conditions were ideal, and I ended up doing 1/3 mile with very little effort. Plus the lake was as clear as an aquarium which made it a joy to be in the water.
