It was quiet, calm, and beautiful out at L1 at 5:20am. The lake came in at just under 59F which was a welcome relief from the 53F air temp. I went in with just my jammers and swim cap and got in just under 1/2 mile in a perfect lake. And as you can see by the pics, Ma Nature gave us a great show to the east!
As we get closer to the summer solstice, these meetups become super early. But it’s always a special treat for those dedicated Lake Monsters who show up in the wee hours of the morning!
