Swim Report – June 8, 2025 – Aquarium Edition

Sunrise came in a 5:15am, but the super early swim time was well worth it as the lake came in at an amazingly temperate 64F with the air slightly lagging at 58F. But the real treat was that the water was crystal clear making it an absolute joy to swim in. Given these conditions, I went with just my jammers and silicone swim cap and did a 1/2 mile point-to-point to Oak Street Beach – the first time in quite a while. And since I didn’t have to be back up north until later in the morning, I took my time strolling back to L1 and taking in the full magic of the late spring morning. So if you slept in this morning, you really missed out!
