Swim Report – February 15, 2026 – Channeling the Titanic

A near perfect morning out at the old swim spot! The lake came in at 35F with the air slightly above at 38F. But it was a clear morning with no wind, so we had ideal swim conditions at 6:45am!

I got 1/8 mile south before literally running into a submerged ice floe. After the pain on the bridge of my nose subsided, I decided to climb on top of it and explore. It was about 8 inched thick and easily supported my weight. I dove off it and swum to the next one and repeated the process.

You gotta have some fun with this!
