The lake temp backslid a bit from our last meetup but still came in at a perfectly balmy 74F. The air had a slight hint of a chill, coming in at 62F and reminding us that autumn is just around the corner. But we had plenty of sunshine at 6:05am and near perfect swim conditions. Since I was feeling pretty well rested, I did a 1/2 mile to the beach and walked back. I also added another 1/8 swimming out to Jared’s sailboat to get a super strong cup of coffee – which really hit the spot! So overall, about as perfect of a morning as it could get!
