The good news this morning was that the 95% humidity forecast didn’t translate into drizzle – just heavy fog. So we didn’t have to worry about our towels and dry clothing getting soaked while we were in the lake. We had some slight swells to keep things lively, but Lake Michigan was more than swimmable in the 38F water with my shorty and neoprene covered trifecta (hands, feet, head). As a bonus, post-swim was pretty manageable in the 41F air – something that helped temper the missing sunshine!
