I usually lock my backpack to a fixed object and lock the zipper together with a luggage lock…not entirely theft proof, but it prevents someone from just walking away with my stuff!

I do the same. My biggest fear is my getting my clothes stolen and having to ride my bike home in my speedo. Not a pretty site!

I take as little as possible with me and I usually try to start my swim close to a lifeguard at this time of year. everything that I take is left in a zip pocket in my shorts and all that is left right near the lifeguard.

Yes we do, but I personally wouldn’t dare try it without a wetsuit (or other thermal gear)

I RECOMMEND A FRESH ROLL OF BOUNTY PAPER TOWEL TO DRY OFF AFTER SWIMMING IN THE LAKE WHEN THE BACTERIA COUNT IS HIGH … ON A LOW COUNT DAY, I LIKE TO USE CHARMIN ON MY DELICATE SKIN !

Great pic, Steve. I saw the sunrise as I was headed down the Eisenhower toward the lake for the morning swim. Sorry I couldn’t gut out a whole mile, but 62F is a bit chilly without a wetsuit.
