TWO YEARS AGO SHE JUMPED IN TO HELP ME SAVE A FATHER AND HIS 6 YEARS OLD DAUGHTED AS TWO LIFEGUARDS STOOD BY AND DID NOT MOVE. JELLY PULLED OUT EVA. JELLY’S BEEN ABLE TO SWIM AND SCUBA DIVE SINCE SHE WAS 3 YEARS OLD. SHE LOVES GOING TO THE BEACH WITH ME AND WILL SLEEP IN HER SWIMSUIT UNDER HER PIJAMAS AND CALL ME AT 6 AM TO PICK HER UP…..

My dad and I stumbled on this site last weekend and are glad to read the interesting/funny/informative posts. We swim Ohio St. on Sundays (since June) and were trying to find out just HOW cold it was August 9 as we enjoyed a lovely brain freeze sans wetsuits. It was great validation to learn we weren’t making it up. I really appreciate all of you who share your info. I almost felt like a cheater swimming in a warm lake for a tri this morning!
